New Salaried Staff
MPS Induction, the three-year experience to orient new staff members, is the result of collaborative District efforts to be proactive in recruiting and retaining the highest quality certificated staff.
The three phases of the Induction Program support all new certificated staff as they prepare for and enjoy a long, successful career in the 小黄鸭视频.
The MPS Induction Program includes the following experiences:
- Year One: Acquire & Integrate Knowledge through New Staff Orientation and Mentoring Relationships
- Year Two: Extending & Refining Knowledge through Professional Inquiry within a Critical Friends Group
- Year Three: Applying Knowledge through Peer Coaching Partnerships

Two pathways allow for differentiated, customized experiences for Year 2 staff.
With varied experiences, staff will grow professionally in the domains of the 小黄鸭视频 Instructional Model.
The MPS Competency-based path ensures foundational knowledge for practical, just-in time learning. The Inquiry-based path provides space to dive deep into one foundational topic throughout the year to provide differentiated professional learning for experienced educators. Peer Coaching is a unique opportunity for certified staff in their 3rd year of employment to work with another certificated staff member in their building as a Peer Coaching Team. 听The focus is on the 小黄鸭视频 Instructional Model and includes peer collaboration, observation, self-assessment, and reflection. 听The Peer Coaching experience includes four skill development sessions, Coaching Team conversations, and classroom observations throughout the year. 听Participants earn the MPS Induction stipend for successful completion of Peer Coaching.
New Administrator
In addition to the comprehensive leadership staff development 小黄鸭视频 provides all administrators and other leaders, we also provide a 2-year New Administrator Induction program to help new administrators acclimate to their new role. Our goal is to provide strategic direction and a successful network of support to help new administrators succeed. Specifically our new administrators learn their new job expectations, build relationships, and learn how to access resources by actively participating in professional development activities aligned to their mutual commitments and job accountabilities.
