Reading is fun! It’s also fundamental to learning. We want every child to enjoy a good book.
Our libraries are open to students throughout С»ÆѼÊÓƵ year and also during special summer hours at many of our schools. Ìý
In Library Services, our media specialists are committed to an information and media program that is integrated with the instructional program of the district. We believe this commitment is one reason for the high academic achievement of our students.
Our libraries are a collaborative information center, the heart of learning for each school. Key elements include certified staff and paraprofessionals, large and flexible facilities, new technologies, extended hours, and curriculum-based collections.
Our collection holds more than 400,000 books, audiovisual items, print periodicals, and subscription databases. Additionally, our media specialists are С»ÆѼÊÓƵ leaders in technology and our one-to-one digital learning environments.
